Global Foundation is a sixteen-year-old organization that operates worldwide by networking with local Christian leaders to promote relief and development work as a tangible expression of the love of Jesus. By facilitating financial, human and material resources, we have provided encouragement and eternal hope in 24 countries. A majority of our efforts in every nation benefit the needs of orphans and underserved children. This prompted us several years ago to have a tennis tournament - Serve for the Children - to highlight and to help fund some of these programs.
Hundreds of children have benefited from this event. Children in Ecuador, Thailand, Mexico, Native American children in South Dakota, and children in Northeast Nashville have received Christmas presents, food, medicine and clothing. Proceeds from this event have helped rebuild an orphanage in Burma that was destroyed by the Tsunami and furnish a dormitory for a ministry working with street kids in Ukraine.
